This short is a portrait of a young man named Cory Zacharia, who questions love, sex, and loneliness in the California desert, wondering if he’ll ever find a way out of Lancaster. For him, the desert is a land of both waste and dreams. LANCASTER is part of a larger collective of portraits and stories that’s taking place and shaping into a feature-length project called CALIFORNIA DREAMS.
