Herbert H. Heebert (Lewis), left by his college love interest and determined to eternal bachelorhood finds a job as an errand-boy - of all things in a women’s guesthouse. The 31 ladies use his more or, often, rather less helpful services, but in the end this feeling of being needed helps him to re-erect from his fractured self-confidence. Magnificent is the studio stage where the film was shot, a human-size multi-level doll house with all floors visible and recordable.
