In December 2000, Stijn van Santen, the stepson of Johan van der Keuken, used his small digital camera to film his father in their house in Spain. This resulted in an intriguing conversation at the end of van der Keukens life about fatherhood, life, and death and, of course, what is beautiful about film. The father tries to explain to his son the use of light and how to get the best shots.
