IN THE COMPANY OF MEN
A black, highly political fable of power and corruption, vengeance and renunciation, set in the violent, cannibalistic world of business and high finance. This film is the story of a young man, Léonard, adopted son of the wealthy arms dealer Henri Jurrieu, caught in a web of lies and brutality. Desperate to escape from beneath Jurrieus shadow, Léonard is manoeuvred into an ill-advised business deal which leaves him open to blackmail at the hands of his fathers vengeful enemies. Trapped in a world of which he finally wants no part, he is forced to betray Jurrieu in order to keep his respect, and when this is no longer bearable, to renounce everything.
