Live-Konzert Patti Smith: All Saints Day

AN EVENING WITH PATTI SMITH

Over the years, the artist Patti Smith has grown particularly fond of Vienna, discovering her love for its music and painting, the city, even the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel, and, ultimately, also for our festival. So, she has decided to give what she calls one of her “small performances” in the Gartenbaukino during this year’s Viennale. But those who know Patti also know that, for her, “small” is a relative concept. Along with her long-time guitarist and pianist, Tony Shanahan, she will be giving one of her rare, very personal concerts, featuring a combination of music and a reading.

The day for it, Patti Smith has chosen herself: “Give me All Saints’ Day.”
