With impacting shots Igor and Gustavo Guayasamín are the very firsts to value the labour of the «hieleros» who climb on the highest volcano of the Ecuadorian mountains to get ice which later is sold for some coins. On the market, the melted ice is mixed with fresh fruits. Los hieleros del Chimborazo is an internationally awarded masterpiece of the early indigenous cinema.
