For the documentary <![CDATA[<i>]]>Le Celluloïd et le marbre<![CDATA[</i>]]> Rohmer asked several contemporary artists like Xenakis, Vasarely and others about their attitude towards film as part of the modern arts. Even though the director is an enthusiastic filmmaker it is obvious that he is open-minded towards other art forms.
