This Turkish drama, set in a modern apartment block, follows a young woman as she slowly reshapes her life into something pleasing. Tülay lives in Block C with her sluggish husband Selim. She has had enough of him. She begins to break down when she happens upon her maid as she and the janitors son, Halet, are making love. Much of the film centers upon the intimate conversations between Tülay and her best friend. She also spends much time alone, driving the city streets and objectively reevaluating her life. Eventually she too, sleeps with Halet. Not long after, she goes off to start a new life. (Sandra Brennan)
