ZAK - Nazis vom Mars

Besides his “artistic” work, Christoph Schlingensief took on a considerable number of “contract killer” jobs, earning money as a TV directors’ assistant (German soap LINDENSTRASSE!) or shirt satiric clips, such as for a TV-magazine called Z.A.K. This short film is at once a nice exorcism of everyday paranoia and an excellent example of an appropriate saying: You can get Schlingensief everywhere, but everywhere where Schlingensief worked, you see what Schlingensief actually wanted to create. To paraphrase a quote by Herbert Achternbusch: TV destroys us, but I’ll stay there until everybody can see what that means.
