We invited filmmakers to share with us materials which are documenting the creation of their films and which, in one way or the other, were important in that process: images, paintings or newspaper articles, shotlists, script pages, notes, setphotos, storyboards, quotes, encounters, all kinds of inspirations.
Chilean director Celeste Rojas Mugica sent us some of the photos that will forever remind her of the fascinating, emotional, challenging working process on her film:
"First, the archives of this film. Some loose images that show their rough and damaged materiality. The light hitting the surfaces.
Then, some of the many places and people with whom I made this film in Chile, Donosti, Berlin... The seasons of the year, the inclination of the light.
Also, our notebooks. Julian's drawings, my endless lists of the archive photos.
