Walter Saabel was born 1950 in Germany. Before settling in Italy he travelled with different circuses through Europe. He performed with a boxing bear show and worked as a knife thrower. He also appeared in different movie productions as a stuntman. Currently he is travelling with a small Italian circus through Sicily. Walter Saabel made his first experience as a movie actor in „La Pivellina“ by Tizza Covi and Rainer Frimmel.
For his role in THE SHINE OF DAY he received the Silver Leopard award for Best Actor at Film Festival Locarno 2012.
