Born in Lower Austrian Melk/Danube in 1974. After leaving school in Amstetten she passed the entrance exam at Volkstheater's drama academy in Vienna. The coming years were marked by performances as a freelance actor in various theaters like Theater in der Josefstadt, Stadttheater Kiel, Stadttheater Klagenfurt and TEATA Köln. In 1999, she began her film career. She was awarded the Diagonale's Special Prize for Acting in 2008. Performing in VIELLEICHT IN EINEM ANDEREN LEBEN (2011) gained her the Austrian Film Prize 2012. In the Austrian detective TV-series SCHNELL ERMITTELT she is a familiar face and therefor nominated again as the most popular series actress in 2013 after the receipt of the Romy in 2010. In 2012, she curated the cultural festival “Wachau in Echtzeit”.
