Born in 1942 in Damascus.
Grew up in Lebanon. Studied philosophy in Paris and Beirut, where she created AUTOPORTRAIT. Emigrated during the Lebanese civil war to California, working as a painter, sculptor and founded a publishing house for experimental literature.
