Marko Mandić, born in 1974 in Slovenj Gradec, is a Slovenian actor. He studied acting at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana and continued his training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and HB Studio in New York. Since 1998, he has been a member of the ensemble of the Slovenian National Theatre Drama Ljubljana and works across theatre, film and television. He has received numerous awards for his acting, including the Prešeren Award, several Borštnik Awards and the European Shooting Stars award at the Berlinale in 2007. Internationally, he is known for films including THE CRIME (2010), GOLD (2013), THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD (2017) and O BEAUTIFUL NIGHT (2019).
