Manuel Muñoz Rivas was born in Sevilla, Spain, in 1978. He graduated from the EICTV film school in Cuba. His work as a filmmaker to date poetically explores the relationships between people and territory, between the mundane and the transcendental, with a hybrid approach that defies the categories of fiction and documentary.
