Lucie Prost was born in France in 1983. After studying theater, she graduated with a master's degree in social sciences from the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences in Paris. She wrote and co-directed her first short film, Les Rosiers grimpants, with Julien Marsa in 2016. In 2021, she directed her second short film, Va dans les bois. She has also worked as a scriptwriter for the French television miniseries The Best of Us (2023). FARIO is her first feature film.
