Lars Eidinger (born 1976 in Berlin) is an actor, musician, and artist. He studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts and has been a member of the Schaubühne Berlin ensemble since 1999. He gained international recognition for his roles in HAMLET and RICHARD III, both directed by Thomas Ostermeier. Recently, he appeared in productions such as Jedermann (Salzburg Festival) and Peer Gynt. Eidinger has acted in numerous film and TV productions, including ALL OTHERS, PERSONAL SHOPPER, BABYLON BERLIN, 25 KM/H, WHITE NOISE, and THE LIGHT (opening film at Berlinale 2025). He has received several awards for his work, including the Grimme Prize, Bavarian Film Award, Ernst Lubitsch Prize, as well as international honors. Besides acting, Lars Eidinger is also a musician, photographer, and DJ.
