ROTER HIMMEL
Langston Uibel (born 1998 in London) is a British-German actor. He played his first role at the age of 10 in the short film THE STRING PUPPET, which premiered at the Berlinale in 2008. He had his breakthrough at a young age with the cinema drama FREISTATT. Internationally, he made a name for himself with the Netflix productions UNORTHODOX, HOW TO SELL DRUGS ONLINE (FAST) and DOGS OF BERLIN. Then, earlier this year, Langston Uibel was back at the Berlinale. In February, RED HEAVEN (English: AFIRE) celebrated its world premiere in competition at the 73rd Berlinale. The new film by Christian Petzold with Langston in the main cast won the "Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize" and opened in cinemas nationwide on 20.04.23. Uibel is currently on stage at the Burgtheater in Vienna in EIN SOMMERNACHTSTRAUM directed by Barbara Frey in the role of Demetrius.
