Kent Jones is an American filmmaker. Since 2013, he has been the director of the New York Film Festival. Before that, he worked as a critic, writing and interviewing many of the great auteurs of contemporary cinema. In 2007, he published the book Physical Evidence: Selected Film Criticism.
