Julian Radlmaier (born 1984 in Nuremberg) studied film studies and art history in Berlin and Paris, then directing at the dffb. He also worked as an assistant to Werner Schroeter. Following SELBSTKRITIK EINES BÜRGERLICHEN HUNDES (Rotterdam 2017) and BLUTSAUGER (Berlinale 2021), his third feature film SEHNSUCHT IN SANGERHAUSEN 2025 will premiere in competition at Locarno.
