Born in Lisbon in 1973. There she has been working as managing director and producer at C.R.I.M. with a special focus on fiction features since 2006. From 1998 on she has been engaging in the production of Portuguese fiction feature films. Among the directors with whom she worked are Manoel de Oliveira, João César Monteiro, João Canijo, João Botelho, Raoul Ruiz, Teresa Villaverde, Paulo Rocha, Catarina Ruivo, Miguel Gomes and Marco Martins. She studied Anthropology at Lisbon's Universidade Nova before getting involved in film.
