Isabelle Bertolone was born in Siegen, Germany, in 1990. From 2011 to 2017, she studied production and media economics at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF München). As a producer, initially working independently and later at Trimafilm in Munich, she develops fiction and documentary projects in close collaboration with directors and screenwriters.
The films she has produced have received numerous awards nationally and internationally. She has also worked as a mentor for the Austrian Film Institute (ÖFI), among others, and is a member of the German Film Academy. In 2025, Isabelle Bertolone was appointed to the commission for jury-based cultural film funding at the German Federal Film Board (FFA). She also teaches at the ZeLIG Documentary Film School in Bolzano.
