LA LIBERTAD DOBLE
Ilse Hughan is a Dutch film producer based in Amsterdam. She studied literature and translation at the University of Amsterdam and began her career in film as a subtitler before working as a production assistant, director and editor. From 1988 to 1992, she was responsible for the distribution of independent films at Amsterdam Filmhuis. Since 2002, she has worked as a producer, focusing on the development and co-production of international independent films, particularly from Latin America. Her long-standing collaborators include Argentine director Lisandro Alonso, with whom she has produced, among others, FANTASMA (2006), JAUJA (2014), EUREKA (2023) and LA LIBERTAD DOBLE (2026).
