Daniel Schmidt was born in 1984 in New Haven, USA. He studies at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York and Yale. His film A HISTORY OF MUTUAL RESPECT (2010) wins the Golden Leopard for Best International Short Film at the Locarno Film Festival. Another film project is the film PALÁCIOS DE PENA (2011).
