Born in 1982 in Clemnot-Ferrand. Studied film theory at the Sorbonne in Paris. First feature documentary CHANGPING, SONATA IN A SMALL CHINESE TOWN (2007).
In XIAO JIA GOING HOME (2008, Viennale 08 ) he portrays the Chinese film director Jia Zhangke.
