CINEMATOGRAPHY CARLOS AMORALES
(1970, Mexico City) is a multidisciplinary artist who explores alternative forms of communication – beyond language, through signs, gestures and sounds. His works oscillate between image and writing and are often based on his Liquid Archive, a visual sign system. Amorales works with animation, installation, performance, sound and film. He has exhibited at the Biennale, among other venues Venice (2017), at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, at MUAC Mexico and at the Phoenix Art Museum. He lives and works in Mexico City.
