Born in Vienna in 1969. Film director and producer. From 1988 to 1990 he studied art history and theater studies at the University of Vienna, from 1991 to 1997 directing at the Vienna Film Academy. In 1999 he founded coop99 film production together with Barbara Albert, Jessica Hausner and Martin Gschlacht. In 2005 he was awarded the German Film Award in silver for the production of DIE FETTEN JAHRE SIND VORBEI. He directed short films and commercials. SPIELE LEBEN (2005) and IMMER NIE AM MEER (2007) earned him attention as feature film director.
