Andrea Wagner studied editing at the Film Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She has been working as a freelance editor of documentaries and feature films for cinema and television since the early 1990s. Andrea Wagner is a member of the Academy of Austrian Film and the Austrian Film Editing Association.
At the 2011 Austrian Film Awards, she was nominated together with Benjamin Heisenberg in the Best Editing category for DER RÄUBER. Andrea Wagner has worked with directors such as Nikolaus Leytner, Nikolaus Geyrhalter, Michael Kreihsl, Michael Sturminger, Ulrich Seidl and Michael Glawogger.
