Born in 1977 in Graz, Austria. Studied philosophy and art history at the University of Vienna, as well as Fine Arts at the Städelschule Frankfurt (class of Peter Kubelka) and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Teaching at the fim school "Schule für unabhängigen Film" in Vienna. Filming on 35mm, 16mm and Super 8 as well as film installations and videos. Albert Sackl lives in Vienna.
