Laure Giappiconi was trained as a stage artist at the ENSATT in Lyon. Acting both on stage and in cinema, she activaly participates in the projects she is involved in and develops her own performances and films, most notably her co-directed short film "While I'm still breathing", presented at Sundance and Rotterdam film festivals. Her first novel, "Et d'abord le regard", is published in France in 2021, at Editions Anne Carrière.
