LA PARRA
Alberto Gracia (Ferrol, 1978) is a director and writer. Thus far, he has made two short films and two feature films. His first short film, MICROFUGAS, was shot in 2008 in 16mm. In 2013, his first feature film THE FIFTH GOSPEL OF KASPAR HAUSER (Zeitun Films) premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and won the FIPRESCI award (International Critics Award). In 2018, he presented his second feature film entitled THE WANDERING STAR at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. This film won the DELUXE PRIZE NUEVAS OLAS at the Seville European Film Festival and Best Film Award at the DOCK OF THE BAY Festival in Donosti. Thanks to winning the X-FILMS award in 2020 at the Punto de Vista Festival; in 2021, he could make his second short film, LET’S BE CAREFUL OUT THERE, which received the SPECIAL JURY MENTION at FILMADRID.
LA PARRA is his third and long-awaited feature film.
