WHO KILLED WHO?

Introduced by a live-action “expert” behind a desk who appears to be impersonating J. Edgar Hoover, and who makes a surprise return visit later, this ­parodic cartoon tribute to murder mysteries and haunted-house stories brings out the usual Tex Avery arsenal of Texas hyperbole and surrealist overkill – in short, delightful excess.
