STONE TIME TOUCH
Stone Time Touch is an experimental documentary essay exploring the journey to an imagined homeland: Armenia. With this film I make a move into the physical environment. My film is a transition for me and a convergence of two styles, the fictional and the documentary. The theme of identity and imagination has concerned me from the beginning of my work. I always knew that this search for identity, which was swimming in the imagination, would surface in the homeland. Armenia was always the destination. The fact that the place is real and different from the imagined world gives clarity to identity. This awareness also changes the visual language.
