SKAGAFJÖRDUR

Peter Hutton demonstrates his talent for documenting the beauty of a place with Skagafjördur, named after a region in northern Iceland. With his eye for dramatic lighting and painterly sensibility, Hutton takes full advantage of Icelands spectacular geography. His sophisticated compositions and use of duration emphasize depth-of-field and allow horizontal stratification of movement within the image to occur naturally. (Susan Oxtoby)
