Visual fragments are used to construct a fictitious town much like the way tangible remnants are used to construct history. The inspiration for the videos structure comes from Francis Ponges «Pièces», a collection of prose poetry in which Ponge elaborately describes objects to explore objective versus subjective reality and poetic fallacy.
