The testimonies of half a dozen women imprisoned in the The Federal Jail of Puente Grande (Jalisco, Mexico) echo their world full of laughter as well as of pain and despair. With amazing moments of intimacy they allow insights into their inner prisons and raise questions about the relativity of freedom itself. Shot with empathy, the visual translation mirrors the emotional worlds of the prisoners.
