La leyena del tiempo tells the story of Isra, the young gipsy who, after his father's death, will never be able to sing again, although he belongs to a Cantaores tradition, and who lives dreaming of traveling one day away from the Island where he was born; and the story of Makiko, who travels to the Island to try to assimilate a tradition and a way to understand life that are not familiar to her, and with which she expects to be able to face up the inexpressible emotions aroused by her father's illness. Two characters who, although they don't know this yet, are about to become different people.
