A portrait of a place: trains, artificial light, time and memory give form to forces that drift amidst the darkness of the daily journey. Dormente is an essay film concerned in the spaces for passage, choosing the train station and the railroad as symbolic elements for this contemporary phenomenon, the «non place», as accurately defined by Marc Augé.
