Deutschösterreich ist und bleibt Republik

Apart from many other Hungarian film makers in 1919, Alexander Korda came to Vienna to shoot five films, including <i>Eine versunkene Welt</i>. The film is about a non-descript Duke Peter, who abandons all titles and offices for the love of a woman, with whom he embarks on a boat to South America. When he threatens to lose his lover as well as control of his crew, he consciously steers the vessel into disaster.
