George Feydeau’s complex, punchline-rich pieces were already a hit at the vaudeville and later were an ideal basis for film comedies like ]]>Die Königin vom Moulin Rouge]]>. Instead of expressive grimaces, the director Robert Wiene uses mimic against a backdrop of the lights of nocturnal Paris locations. The comedy short ]]>Cocl und Seff im Tingl-Tangl]]> takes us to a music hall where comedians Rudolf Walter (Cocl) and Josef Holub (Seff) get laughs in several different roles.
Music: Martin Siewert, guitar and electronic sounds.
