«Based on a true story, but not mine!» are the words with which Herbert Schwarze embarks on his journey through time. 1968 marks the beginning of a train journey through a landscape of consciousness. However, it soon becomes clear that the destination will remain unknown. On the screen, sleeping passengers in the compartment collide with locomotives crashing into each other, while the images of a train journey accompanied by German pop songs dissolve in a no mans land.
