The Viennale is glad to announce another highlight of this year's program. The festival dedicates an extensive film tribute to the great American actor and comedian Will Ferrell.

In agreement with Will Ferrell we selected a variety of his work including some of his absolute classics such as STEP BROTHERS (2008), TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY (2006 ) or OLD SCHOOL (2002 ), but also less known films such as CASA DE MI PADRE (2012 ), YOU'RE WELCOME AMERICA. A FINAL NIGHT WITH GEORGE W. BUSH (2009), and under the title SAFETY LAST! a selection of his best shorts and TV sketches.

The Viennale is the first film festival in the world dedicating the exceptional artist Will Ferrell a long overdue tribute and is pleased that Will Ferrell himself will be present at this year's Viennale.

On Wednesday, November 6th, at 5pm a gala event will take place at Gartenbaukino with the movie ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY in the presence of Will Ferrell, followed by an extensive Q&A session on stage.
