In "materials" we ask filmmakers to send us images, statements, stories, videos or quotes that were important for creating their work or are a documentation of it.
"My main inspiration for making GUNDA was a short story The story of a horse by Leo Tolstoy and a painting by Paulus Potter "A Bull". As you can see in this painting a bull, a cow, a sheep, a lamb are looking to the painter or to the viewers, (we would say now - they are looking into the lens of our camera), as if they are the main characters and they are equal to a man in this painting."
