It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to Boris Marte, a member of the Viennale Board of Trustees, who passed away far too soon on October 4.
For many years, he accompanied the festival with his advice, commitment and deep sense of connection. His expertise and deep roots in Vienna’s cultural life were greatly valued, but above all, we will remember his warmth and humanity. His tireless commitment to culture and society was always marked by passion and openness.
We thank him for his support and for the time we were privileged to share. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
