Open-Air Cinema of the Filmarchiv Austria from June 23 to August 21, 2022.

Curtain up - Kino wie noch nie is back! In the middle of the city and nature, the screen at Augartenspitz is brought back to life by the Filmarchiv Austria. The wonderful Grünstern garden kitchen, atmospheric live music, informative film discussions, the varied cinema program and not to forget the location itself enter into a unique symbiosis that makes cinema like never before an experience.

On 60 Viennese summer evenings, there will be a mix of classics and exciting new discoveries, as well as, among other things, a focus on French filmmaker Céline Sciamma and with Willi Resetarits, who died so surprisingly in April. This year's Kino wie noch nie will open with Marie Kreutzer's CORSAGE on June 23.

With the series Viennale Favorites we celebrate a reunion with a total of 6 favorite films of the Viennale 2021 - a multi-faceted and beautiful cross-section of last year's program:
