The film is dedicated to the Roma, more commonly known throughout history as gypsies. Using paintings by German artist Otto Pankok, who lived among Roma in the 1930s, the film explores the discrimination and persecution of Roma by racist Nazi policies. But in this haunting documentary, shot on the outskirts of Austrian villages, survivors are living proof that injustice towards the Roma people continues until today.
