Born in Bavaria in 1965, is an Austrian director, screenwriter and film producer. He has lived in Vienna since 1987 and studies acting and singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts. Since 1990 he has been working as a director, author and actor, followed by over 40 productions for theatre and opera in Vienna, Leipzig, Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt. Since 1999 Ludwig Wüst has also worked as a film director and in 2009 he directs his feature film debut with KOMA. In 2019 the Diagonale dedicated a tribute to him ("theatre, cinema, woodwork").
