Avi Mograbi is an Israeli director and documentary filmmaker, born in Haifa in 1956. He studied philosophy and art history before turning to film and is known for his fearless, politically engaged works. Combining investigative approach with personal reflection, he explores social and historical issues, encouraging critical thinking about power, violence, and responsibility.
