A man disappeared without a trace in 1995: Allen Ross, a Chicago-based filmmaker and cameraman. Christian Bauer sets out to find his friend, four and a half years after the fact. Is he dead? Bauer uncovers clues, notes, Allen's car, personal effects and a dead man. The documentarist turns detective. His journey takes him to Chicago via Wyoming and as far as Oklahoma. A filmmaker's memories of, and a declaration of love to, his departed friend.
