Philipp Fleischmann works as an artist and filmmaker in Vienna, Austria. Since 2014 he has been Artistic Director of the Schule Friedl Kubelka für unabhängigen Film, where he studied in 2006. He also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna under Dorit Margreiter Choy and at the Royal Danish Art Academy under Gerard Byrne. In 2025 he received the Austrian Art Prize for Film.
